Getting Started in 3 Steps

1. Create a Project: Start by creating a new project from the Projects dashboard. Give it a name and upload your audio file (MP3 or WAV).

2. Generate Storyboard: Use the "Generate Storyboard" panel to describe the visual style you want. Rendergeist uses AI to interpret your prompt and the audio rhythm to create a beat-synced timeline of prompts.

3. Render & Refine: Click "Render All" to generate video clips for each prompt. You can regenerate specific clips, adjust timings, or modify prompts individually. Once satisfied, export your video as an MP4 or project archive for DaVinci Resolve.

Frequently Asked Questions

What format is the "Project Archive" export?▼
Currently, it exports a ZIP file containing an FCPXML 1.10 file and all associated media assets. This format is compatible with DaVinci Resolve 17+, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premiere Pro (via XML import).
How is the AI usage calculated?▼
AI video generation relies on external GPU providers. Usage is tracked per second of generated video. Currently, this beta version runs on local or configured backend endpoints.
Can I upload my own video clips?▼
Not yet. Version 1.0 focuses on AI-generated content from text prompts. Future updates will allow importing custom footage to mix with AI generations.
